Ischemic cardiomyopathy
Ischemic cardiomyopathy is used to describe patients who have congestive heart failure due to coronary artery disease.Ischemic cardiomyopathy
1) Risks for this condition include:
· Diabetes
· High blood pressure
· High cholesterol
· High fat diet
· Obesity
· Personal or family history of heart attack, angina, unstable angina, atherosclerosis, or other coronary artery diseases
· Smoking
2) Symptoms:
- Chest pain
- heartburn
- Dizziness
- Dyspnea.
- palpitations.
3) Tests:
- ECG.
- Cardiac markers
4) Treatment:
- ACE inhibitors
- Diuretics
- Beta-blockers .
