- high blood pressure
- muscle cramps
- muscle weakness
- headache
- metabolic alkalosis
Diagnosis:
- measure aldosterone and rennin
- CT scan, MRI
Oral contraceptive pills
OCP effect rennin angiotensin system
Factors increase risk hypertension in women who use OCP:
Ages: >35 years old
Obesity
Smoke
More sensitive with angiotensin
Estrogen in OCP
History of hypertension
