Define an algebraic expression.
Answer:
An algebraic expression is a combination of numbers and variables joined by such operations, such as addition, multiplication, or division.
It is possible to evaluate the algebraic expression if specific values are assigned to the variables. The numbers should be substituted for the variables.
A monomial is an algebraic expression based only on multiplication. A binomial is an expression formed as the sum of two monomials. A trinomial is an expression formed from the sum of three monomials. A polynomial is the sum of any whole number of monomials.
