Describe the following Physics terms: Wavelength, Amplitude, Frequency, Reflection, Refraction
Answer:
Wavelength- The distance between one peak or crest of a wave of light, heat, or other energy and the next corresponding peak or crest
Amplitude- The maximum absolute value of a periodically varying quantity
Frequency- The number of times a specified periodic phenomenon occurs within a specified interval
Reflection- Something, such as light, radiant heat, sound, or an image, that is reflected
Refraction- The turning or bending of any wave, such as a light or sound wave, when it passes from one medium into another of different optical density
